Overview
Mount Rinjani is one of the highest volcanoes in Indonesia and is a popular climbing destination for adventurers and nature lovers. The following is a brief description of the trip to Mount Rinjani:
Day 1:
Early in the morning, you will gather at the starting point for the climb, usually from Senaru village or Sembalun village, depending on the route you choose. The journey begins with trekking through lush tropical forests with stunning views. After several hours of walking, you will arrive at the first climbing post to rest and recharge. The journey will continue through increasingly challenging terrain, but the stunning natural views will make every step worthwhile. In the afternoon, you will reach the camping area around Segara Anak Lake, which is located at an altitude of around 2,000 meters above sea level. Here, you will pitch your tent for the night and enjoy the beauty of the spectacular sunset over the lake.
Day 2:
Early in the morning, you will continue your journey to the peak of Mount Rinjani, which is the highest peak on the island of Lombok with a height of around 3,726 meters above sea level. The journey to the top will be challenging, with rocky and steep terrain, but as you approach the top, a stunning panorama of the island of Lombok will unfold before you. As the sun begins to rise, you will arrive at the top to witness one of the most beautiful views of the sun you will ever see. After enjoying this extraordinary moment, the journey will continue down to the campsite to relax and rest.
Day 3:
After breakfast, the journey back down begins. You will take the same path as the journey up, but with different views. Along the way down, you will pass several beautiful spots such as the amazing Tiu Kelep Waterfall. After passing all the obstacles, you will arrive at the finish point of the climb. Here, you can feel proud of your achievement in climbing Mount Rinjani and enjoy the freshness of a waterfall bath before finally returning to the starting point of the climb.
